Amazing sculptures full of color. | Another special exhibit: Japanese sword making. Very interesting, but hard to take photos. |

Due to the constant rain I spent a fair amount of time in London's museums. | The British Museum has the most significant collection of Egyptian artifacts outside of Cairo. The Brits pillages the world treasures for us to see... | The Great Court has been recently been completely remodeled and covered -- a great idea considering London's wet climate. | The Great Court houses the impressive reading room of the library. Books span 360 degrees around the library. |
The museum hosts some unique Greek artifacts such Rosetta Stone or this mausoleum. | A panel from the Parthenon on the Acropolis in Athens -- part of the world famous Parthenon Galleries.
A piece of the Statue of Rameses II. | Pets played an important role in ancient Egypt. Some were mummified as well. | An excerpt of the famous book of the dead -- provided to the dead as a guide to eternal life.
