Since I worked in Atlanta, I took
a weekend trip to DC. Hyatt booked me into the grand suite (Room 946) with
Jacuzzi tub. Bonus: modeling contest in the hotel!!
DC is basically a collection of
various monuments and memorials. This is the Washington monument. Tickets
sell out at 8:45am in the morning, too bad.
The White House (duh!).
The Capitol (duh!).
The Library of Congress holds
some 28 million items.
The stacks are closed, but books
can be requested in the reading room.
