Every year, Martin Fowler and
Bruce Eckel hold the Enterprise Architecture Summit. "Summit"
is to be taken somewhat literally as the meeting is in Crested Butte, Colorado
and includes an ascend of the Crested Butte itself at 12,162 ft.
Oh, beautiful Rocky Mountains. Wait -- these are the "leftovers"
of the Summit Mine operation, located right at the Fremont Pass of highway
?? (at 11,318 ft). The mine operates a local radio station hailing their
environmental efforts...
The weather was less inviting cruising down
the winding highway to Leadville. Don't try this at home...

On the way back Rod and I crossed the Continental
Divide via the Cottonwood Pass. If you take a leak here, you will spread
the wealth between Atlantic and Pacific...
